This guide outlines the entire workflow and core rules for selecting, editing, and converting your resume into a high-quality PDF on Myllo.
1. Core 3-Step Resume Creation Process
Myllo's builder is designed around an intuitive three-step process:
Step 01 · Format Selection: Choose your resume's foundational layout—either English (US) or 한국어 (KR).
Step 02 · Strategy & Editing: Import an existing document using AI (optional), write your detailed content under each section, and save your progress.
Step 03 · Design & Export: Select a skin, fine-tune print styles (fonts, spacing, margins), and download the final PDF.
2. Starting Paths
Based on your situation and existing documents, you can choose one of three starting paths:
Start from Scratch: Select a layout in Step 01, click Skip for Now on the Import pop-up, and begin typing directly on a blank template.
Import an Existing File: Select a layout in Step 01, upload your existing file (PDF or DOCX) in the Import & Analyze area, and click Analyze to let the AI automatically populate your draft.
Continue a Saved Resume: Go directly to the editor by clicking the Edit or Export button for your existing document in your Myllo Library.
3. Two Distinct Language Concepts (Commonly Confused)
The structural layout of your resume and the actual text/feedback language are entirely independent. You can mix and match them to suit your target job:
Format (US / KR Layout): Determines the overall structural layout and section skeletal framework (directly reflected in the final PDF layout).
Text & Feedback Language (Text Language): The language environment the AI uses to generate drafts and provide optimized resume feedback.
Example Case: If you want to write an English resume but use a Korean-style section layout (KR), select 한국어 (KR) for the Format and English for the Text Language.
4. Credit Usage Guide
Writing, editing, and saving your progress are completely free and unlimited. Credits are only used for advanced AI-driven features and exporting the final PDF:

Q. I uploaded my existing resume, but the editor forms are still empty.
A. Simply dropping a file in the upload box does not start the process. You must click the Analyze button at the bottom of the pop-up for the AI to extract the text and fill in the forms.
Q. I chose the Korean layout (KR) but the AI-generated draft came out in English.
A. This happens when the Text & Feedback Language in the Import pop-up is set to English. Simply change that setting to 한국어 (Korean) and run the analysis again, or manually edit the text in the forms.
Q. Writing and saving are free, so why are credits deducted when downloading the PDF?
A. Managing your career details, editing, and viewing live previews in Myllo are completely free without limits. However, because generating a high-quality, ATS-optimized PDF with standard print layouts and clean text layers requires a heavy rendering engine, server infrastructure costs are incurred. This is why 20 credits are deducted at the final download step. You can easily download multiple times using the free welcome credits provided upon sign-up.
Q. Can I submit the AI-generated draft as-is?
A. No. While our AI parser is excellent at structuring your history into the right sections, subtle typos, missing details, or translation-like phrasing can occasionally occur depending on the quality of your original file. We highly recommend carefully reviewing your text for factual accuracy and natural flow before submitting it to employers.
