Terms of Service

From everyone at Myllo, thank you for using our products! We built them to help you polish your resume to perfection and focus on your next big career move. Because we don't know every one of our customers personally, we have to put in place some Terms of Service to help keep the platform operating smoothly.

When we say "Company", "we", "our", or "us" in this document, we are referring to Myllo.

When we say "Services", we mean our websites, including myllo.vercel.app, and any product created and maintained by Myllo. That includes our AI resume parsing engine, keyword optimization tools, professional PDF export templates, and personal career archive ledger, whether delivered within a web browser or another format.

When we say "You" or "your", we are referring to the individuals or organizations that own an account with one or more of our Services.

We may update these Terms of Service ("Terms") in the future. Whenever we make a significant change to our policies, we will refresh the date at the top of this page and take any other appropriate steps to notify account holders.

When you use our Services, now or in the future, you are agreeing to the latest Terms. There may be times where we do not exercise or enforce a right or provision of the Terms; however, that does not mean we are waiving that right or provision. These Terms do contain a limitation of our liability.

If you violate any of the Terms, we may terminate your account. That's a broad statement and it means you need to place a lot of trust in us. We do our best to deserve that trust by being open about who we are, how we work, and keeping an open door to your feedback at support@myllo.com.

Account Terms

  1. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password and for ensuring that any of your users do the same. The Company cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation. We recommend all users set up two-factor authentication (2FA) for added security. In some of our Services, we may require it.
  2. You may not use the Services for any purpose outlined in our Use Restrictions, and you may not permit any of your users to do so, either. You may not use our automated AI tools to systematically scrape data or abuse API quotas.
  3. You are responsible for all content posted to and activity that occurs under your account, including resumes, career histories, and descriptions submitted by any users in your account.
  4. You must be a human. Accounts registered by "bots" or other automated methods are not permitted.

Payment, Refunds, and Credit Pack Purchases

  1. Free Account & Permanent Storage: Resume creation and storage spaces within Myllo are 100% free forever. We do not ask for your credit card, and we do not sell your data. You can create, manage, and securely store your resumes for free permanently without any quantity or count restrictions. Upon signing up, a 200 complimentary AI credit package is automatically included for your Free Account to experience the platform.

  2. AI Credit Pack: To access full-scale AI automation utilities once your welcome credits are exhausted, you can purchase the AI Credit Pack to instantly recharge 2,500 AI credits to your account. This is a one-time purchase of $19.99 (standard rate $29.99) under a strict One-time Purchase / No Recurring Fees model. There are no hidden fees and no ongoing subscriptions. Purchased credits have no expiration dates—you keep your points permanently until you get hired.

  3. Credit Consumption Rules: AI Credits are consumed directly from your balance based on the automated actions you perform. Credits are required and spent for the following credit-based AI features:

    • AI Resume Generation: Used for initial resume drafting and optimization feedback.
    • AI Summary: Used to quickly find and scan specific versions among multiple resumes.
    • Resume Download: Used to export fully optimized US layouts without formatting breaks.

  4. All fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities. Where required, our Merchant of Record (e.g., Lemon Squeezy) will collect those taxes on behalf of the taxing authority during checkout. Otherwise, you are responsible for payment of all taxes, levies, or duties.

  5. We process refunds only for completely unconsumed credit packs through our payment gateway according to our standard Fair Refund policy. Once any points from a purchased pack have been partially or fully spent on resume drafting, feedback, summaries, or downloads, that specific transaction becomes completely non-refundable.

Cancellation and Termination

  1. Since our paid services operate entirely on a one-time point purchase mechanism with no auto-renewing cycles, there are no active subscriptions to cancel or manage under your billing settings. You will never face ongoing recurring charges. You can choose to stop using the platform at any time, or permanently delete your account through your profile settings or by contacting our Support team.
  2. If you choose to delete your account entirely, all parsed documents, generated AI items, resume drafts, and any remaining credit balances will be permanently deleted from active systems and logs within 30 days, and from backups within 60 days. We cannot recover points or document assets once they have been permanently deleted.
  3. We have the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of our Services for any reason at any time. Suspension means you will not be able to access the account or any content in the account. Termination will furthermore result in the deletion of your account and the absolute forfeiture of all stored data and remaining unspent credits. We reserve this right to act against malicious actions or nefarious use of our AI infrastructure.
  4. Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse or retribution) of a Company employee or officer will result in immediate account termination.

Modifications to the Service and Prices

  1. We design our service with care and aim to maintain our tools and template engine continuously. However, sometimes it becomes technically impossible to continue a feature, or we redesign a part of our Services because we think it could be better. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any part of our Services with or without notice.
  2. Sometimes we change the pricing for our AI Credit Pack or modify the credit consumption rates for drafting, feedback, summaries, and downloads. If we make changes that affect existing unconsumed balances, we will give at least 30 days notice via the email address on record.

Uptime, Security, and Privacy

  1. Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. We provide these Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We take the uptime of our resume parsing and export applications very seriously, but do not offer rigid service-level agreements.
  2. We reserve the right to temporarily disable your account if your AI prompt usage or PDF generation volume significantly exceeds the average usage of other customers. We will always attempt to reach out to the account owner before taking action, except in rare emergency cases.
  3. We take many measures to protect and secure your data through backups, redundancies, and encryption. We enforce SSL encryption for data transmission from the public Internet.
  4. When you use Myllo, you entrust us with your personal career data. We take that trust to heart. We do not sell your personal data, nor do we use your private resume content or parsed career documents to train public, external AI models. Your content is securely isolated. We as humans can access your data only to assist with support requests you explicitly make or to debug system-level processing errors.
  5. We use third party vendors and hosting partners (such as Vercel and secure AI model providers) to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Services.

Copyright and Content Ownership

  1. All resume content, job titles, achievements, and descriptions posted on the Services must comply with relevant copyright laws.
  2. You give us a limited license to process the content posted by you in order to provide the AI optimization and formatting Services, but we claim no ownership rights over those materials. All resumes and data you submit remain 100% yours.
  3. The Company owns all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all intellectual property rights therein, our proprietary layouts, design structures, code, and template engineering. You obtain no ownership rights in the Myllo platform design as a result of your use. You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or visual design elements (including our specific US resume templates) for competing commercial purposes without express written permission from the Company.

Features and Bugs

  1. We design our Services based on industry trends and user feedback. However, there is no such thing as a software that pleases everybody. We make no guarantees that our AI suggestions or layout formats will meet your specific requirements, hiring expectations, or guarantee recruitment success.
  2. As with any software, our Services inevitably have some bugs. We track reported bugs and prioritize security, privacy, and parsing alignment fixes. Not all reported bugs will get fixed immediately, and we don't guarantee completely error-free Services.

Liability

  1. You expressly understand and agree that the Company shall not be liable, in law or in equity, to you or to any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, lost profits, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the Services; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute services; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the service; (v) or any other matter relating to these Terms or the Services.
  2. In other words: choosing to use our Services means you are placing confidence in us. If your career goals or job screenings do not work out as expected, that responsibility remains yours. We do our absolute best to build the most robust and convenient tool possible by investing carefully in security, infrastructure, and feature quality. Thank you for placing your trust in Myllo.
