Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 4, 2026

The privacy of your data—and it is your data, not ours!—is a big deal to us. In this policy, we lay out: what data we collect and why; how your data is handled; and your rights with respect to your data. We promise we never sell your data: never have, never will.

This policy applies to all products built and maintained by Myllo, including our AI resume optimization engine, professional PDF formatting applications, and career archive features hosted on myllo.vercel.app.

What We Collect and Why

Our guiding principle is to collect only what we need to help you build better resumes. Here's what that means in practice:

  1. Identity and access: When you sign up for Myllo, we ask for identifying information such as your name, email address, and account preferences. That's so you can personalize your new account, and we can send you system notifications, product updates, and essential billing information. We'll never sell your personal information to third parties, and we won't use your name in marketing materials without your explicit permission.
  2. Billing information: If you purchase a one-time AI credit pack (such as the AI Credit Pack) on Myllo, you will be asked to provide your payment information. Your complete credit card information is submitted directly to our third-party merchant/payment processor (such as Lemon Squeezy) and never hits Myllo servers. We only store a secure token, a record of the transaction history (including the last 4 digits of the card), and your credit purchase and usage history for invoicing, account support, and balance tracking. Myllo does not offer recurring subscriptions—paid access is credit-based only.
  3. Product interactions (Your Resume & Career Data): We store on our secure servers the text, documents, files, and career descriptions that you upload or create within your Myllo account. This is strictly so you can use our product as intended—to format, edit, parse, and download your professional resumes. We keep this content for as long as your account is active.

AI Data Processing and Privacy

Because Myllo leverages advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI) to optimize, parse, and generate professional resume content, we enforce strict compliance data boundaries regarding your career records:

  1. Zero Public Model Training: We do not sell your personal career data, nor do we use your private resume content or parsed text to train external, public AI models (such as public OpenAI models). All inputs provided to our AI tools are transmitted via secure, corporate-grade API endpoints that explicitly prohibit the use of customer data for foundational model training.
  2. Data Isolation: Your resume data is isolated and processed dynamically. It is only sent to our secure AI subprocessors for instantaneous optimization, parsing, and formatting, and is never leaked or indexed into global search engines.
  3. Data Retention in AI Subprocessors: Any data temporarily routed through our secure AI infrastructure partners is subject to automatic data-cleansing pipelines and is completely scrubbed from their operational logs within 30 days.

Security Overview

We take rigorous measures to protect and secure your professional data from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure:

  1. Data Infrastructure and Safety

    • In Transit: All data transmitted between your web browser and the Myllo platform is fully encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols (HTTPS).
    • Data Protection: Your profiles, resume inputs, and career records are securely stored within isolated cloud databases managed by enterprise-grade backend service providers. Access to these data layers is strictly restricted via system-level access tokens and guarded by advanced database firewalls and Row-Level Security (RLS) architectures, ensuring your underlying career details are completely isolated and shielded from public exposure.
  2. Cloud Compliance: Myllo is built on top of world-class cloud infrastructure nodes that strictly adhere to international compliance frameworks, including SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certifications.

  3. Personnel Access Control: No human at Myllo reads or reviews your private resume drafts, career entries, or parsed outputs. Personnel access is strictly gated as a matter of last resort—only occurring if you explicitly grant our team permission to troubleshoot a specific system-level formatting bug or account recovery issue.

When We Access or Disclose Your Information

  1. To provide services you've requested: We use trusted third-party subprocessors (such as cloud hosting providers, secure AI infrastructure nodes, and database architectures) to deliver Myllo's features. These systems handle data under strict privacy provisions.
  2. When required under law: We only preserve or share data with authorities if explicitly compelled by a binding legal process or proper court order under relevant legal jurisdiction. If we are ever forced to share data or audited by a tax authority, we only disclose the absolute bare minimum required by law.

Your Rights with Respect to Your Information

We apply robust data privacy rights to all users of Myllo, regardless of location:

  1. Right to Know & Access: You have the right to know what personal data we collect and access it at any time by logging into your account interface.
  2. Right to Correction: You can easily fix, update, or rewrite any incorrect information inside your resume forms and account settings.
  3. Right to Erasure: You can completely delete specific resumes or choose to destroy your entire user account. Upon deletion, your records are purged from active systems.
  4. Right to Portability: Your data belongs to you. You can export your data out of Myllo at any time by downloading your resumes in standard PDF or supported digital formats.
  5. Right to Non-Discrimination: We do not and will not charge you a different amount or provide inferior customer support simply because you choose to exercise your privacy rights.

Account Deletion

If you choose to delete your account, your data will immediately become inaccessible. All parsed resumes, profile metadata, generated optimization histories, and any remaining AI credit balance will be permanently destroyed and purged from our active tracking databases within 30 days, and entirely wiped from our immutable system backup cycles within 60 days. We cannot recover this information once it has been permanently purged.

Changes and Questions

We may update this policy as needed to match new product features and comply with technical or legal regulations. Whenever we update our policies, we will adjust the date at the top of this document.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about this privacy policy, your personal data, or your rights, please reach out to us via email at support@myllo.com and we will be happy to assist you!
